Del Monte (Germany) is seeking a Junior Key Account Manager for its Sales Department, on a Permanent contract, starting as soon as possible.

Reporting to the Commercial Director Germany based in our offices of Hamburg, you will assist with various tasks:

  • Customer Relationship: Maintain consistent and proactive communication with selected customers in Germany to achieve agreed OI.
  • Order Management: Accurately take daily orders from customers and input them into the ERP system.
  • Claims Handling: Address and resolve customer claims and returns promptly and professionally.
  • Negotiate the terms and conditions with existing new customers to assure profitability.
  • Reporting and documentation: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interaction. Create and update internal sales data (Excel sheets), in order to ensure accurate tracking and reporting.
  • Logistics Coordination: Regularly communicate with ports and logistics partners to ensure timely and efficient delivery.
  • Customer needs Assessment: Conduct assessments to understand customer needs and tailor solution accordingly.
  • Daily/weekly stock control for all relevant service providers in the supply chain.
  • Customer relationship management: actively build an annual plan/schedule for visits to existing & potential customers with transparent visit report documentation and to be recorded in a shared file

Prerequisites:

  • Proven (minimum 5 - years) experience as Fruits Sales Representative in a Fruits/Vegetable -production/distribution company
  • Fluent in written and spoken, German and English
  • Experienced ERP user and knowledge of MS Office
  • Thorough understanding of marketing and negotiating techniques
  • Fast learner and passion for sales
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven approach
