Overview

Are you passionate about data analytics If so we have a remarkable opportunity for you! Based in the vibrant city of Dubai but with the flexibility of a global reach our client is a leading entity specialized in FinTech solutions and pioneering technology.

Responsibilities

• Analyze engineering time logs in relation to Jira velocity (story points completed per sprint).
• Monitor effort versus delivery by comparing logged hours (via Timing GitLab and Jira) against actual output.
• Identify delivery bottlenecks across teams and products to improve efficiency.
• Generate weekly reports highlighting underperformance overengineering and velocity discrepancies.
• Maintain performance dashboards and configure alerts for detecting anomalies.
• Investigate incident logs and trace root causes back to specific engineering workflows.

Qualifications

• 35 years of experience in data analytics business intelligence (BI) or engineering performance analysis roles.
• Proficiency with tools such as Jira GitLab Confluence and time-tracking systems (e.g. Timing Harvest).
• Strong command of SQL and experience with BI platforms such as Looker Power BI or Tableau.
• Background in SaaS Agile software development environments or technology-focused FP&A is highly desirable.
