Role Purpose

The purpose of this role is to become part of the office of the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO). This position functions as a close partner to the CHRO responsible for designing steering and structuring strategic HR projects managing high-level communications and driving change initiatives in close collaboration with the HR leadership team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute complex HR transformation projects in all divisions to implement the overall group HR strategy 2030.
  • Stakeholder Management at all levels up to the Executive Leadership Meeting (ELM) ensuring alignment and fostering buy-in for key initiatives.
  • Coordinate external stakeholder management activities with the CHRO engaging with cross-industry peers and HR experts.
  • Steer the implementation and integration of HR technology (like HCM systems) to streamline processes improve data accuracy and enhance efficiency with the objective to improve the overall employee experience by simplifying HR processes automating tasks and promoting a positive and inclusive corporate culture.
  • Identify, analyse and lead cross‑divisional and transnational change initiatives and business cases in group‑wide HR transformation projects ensuring project milestones and objectives are met.
  • Ensure the narrative and branding for change initiatives and business cases while supporting their deployment end-to-end in HR to secure decision‑making for the global HR function aiming at diverse stakeholders including HR and line managers.
  • Design and execute comprehensive communication and transformation strategies aligned with organizational objectives. Manage the CHRO communication plan ensuring alignment with key initiatives across all divisions in collaboration with the network of Communication Focal Points and Corporate Communications.
  • Continuously define group‑wide HR improvements to achieve medium- to long-term company objectives by analyzing and structuring new or undefined strategic topics on behalf of the CHRO to create actionable project plans.
  • Support the design and implementation of Learning Expeditions for Top Management and other executive development initiatives as they may arise.
  • Secure external cooperations with leading AI / Tech experts academic institutions and industry thought leaders to emphasise and drum beat the development and usage of AI solutions in and for HR. Further develop the Headquarter HR Strategy post Workday implementation.
Required Skills & Experience
  • Educational Background: Bachelors degree or equivalent in Human Resources, Communications, Business Management or a related field.
  • Professional Experience: More than 20 years proven experience in strategic consulting in a corporate environment with a focus on transformation, change management, strategy definition or project management.
  • Language Proficiency: Fluency in both English and German (written and spoken) is mandatory. Professional working proficiency in French is an asset.
  • HR Acumen: Solid understanding of fundamental HR processes and strategic challenges in a global context is required.
  • Project Management: Strong organizational and structuring skills with a proven ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
  • Stakeholder Management: Demonstrated ability to interact with and influence senior leaders and stakeholders across all levels of the organization.
  • Communication Skills: Strong writing and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.
  • Mindset: Proactive, results-oriented and customer-focused. Able to work effectively in a transnational and diverse team environment.
  • Travel: This position requires regular business travels.
