HEAD OF FP&A (M/F/D) in DÜSSELDORF. RELOCATION PACKAGE OFFERED.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Planning & Forecasting
- Lead the annual budgeting process and ongoing forecasting activities to ensure accuracy and alignment with corporate goals.
- Develop long-term financial forecasts and scenario models to support strategic initiatives.
Financial Performance Analysis
- Provide clear and timely financial insights and analytical reports.
- Identify financial trends, assess performance metrics, and develop strategies to improve results.
Business Performance & KPI Management
- Define and track key KPIs using interactive dashboards and reporting tools.
- Collaborate with sales and supply chain leaders in Europe to drive revenue growth, optimise margins, and improve cash flow.
Operational Efficiency & Cost Optimisation
- Partner with the European leadership team to identify cost-saving opportunities and operational improvements.
- Lead compliance and financial audit processes to ensure adherence to internal policies and legal regulations.
Team Leadership & Development
- Collaborate with the FP&A team in the USA to foster a performance-oriented culture with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Mentor and develop the European finance teams to enhance their analytical skills and business acumen.
Cross-functional Collaboration
- Provide financial guidance to departments such as Accounting, HR, Sales, and Operations.
- Support the implementation and optimisation of planning tools in collaboration with IT and the global FP&A team.
Capital Allocation & Investment Strategy
- Evaluate investment proposals and manage capital allocation in line with company goals.
- Actively participate in strategic programs and transformation initiatives.
Desired Profile
- University degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a similar field (MBA or CPA/Chartered Accountant certification is a plus).
- 5-7+ years of experience in a senior FP&A role, ideally within international manufacturing companies.
- Excellent financial modelling and Excel skills, with experience in corporate systems such as OneStream and Epicor.
- Familiarity with Business Intelligence tools and data warehouses.
- Ability to lead and manage distributed, diverse teams virtually.
- Fluent in English. German is a plus.
