The Role

We’re looking for a Growth Architect to the CEO—a strategic thinker and hands-on operator who can turn bold ideas into tangible outcomes by working across the organization. In this high-impact role, you’ll partner directly with our CEO to identify, shape, and accelerate our most important growth and innovation initiatives.

This role requires initiative, influence, and empathy. Since you won’t have direct reports, your ability to build trust and mobilize team members is crucial to your success. You’ll need to align stakeholders, remove blockers, and keep momentum moving without formal authority.

You will act as a strategic extension of the CEO, driving forward zero-to-one experiments, exploring monetization and optimization strategies, and helping Mode pursue new ventures, including mergers and acquisitions. Who You Are and What You’ll Do
  • Partner closely with the CEO to scope, test, and execute the company’s highest-priority growth opportunities.
  • Lead cross-functional efforts to explore and validate new business ideas, revenue streams, and strategic bets.
  • Serve as the connective tissue between teams—aligning goals, coordinating inputs, and keeping projects on track.
  • Influence and inspire others to contribute to CEO-driven initiatives, even when they have competing priorities.
  • Collaborate across product, marketing, partnerships, finance, and operations to unlock growth levers and improve outcomes.
  • Prepare internal strategy docs, investment theses, operational plans, and investor-facing materials.
  • Jump between strategy and execution, acting as a builder, project driver, and thought partner to the CEO.
What You Bring to the Team
  • 5+ years of experience in high-growth environments, startup ops, product, strategy, growth, VC, or consulting.
  • Experience in mobile apps, consumer tech, fintech, or ad/martech.
  • Strong business and product sense, with the ability to extract insights quickly and act decisively.
  • Proven ability to drive cross-functional initiatives without direct authority by influencing, motivating, and building trust.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills; able to navigate diverse stakeholders and personalities.
  • A collaborative, low-ego approach and a track record of shipping things that matter.
  • High ownership and bias toward action—able to operate independently and adapt to changing priorities.
