Your Future Role

As Global Head of Supply Chain Management (SCM), you will oversee and steer multiple factories, procurement, quality management, manufacturing excellence, and supply chain planning, with responsibility for achieving operational targets in the plants. Your key responsibilities include:

1. Global Supply Chain Strategy Development
   • Design and execute global SCM strategy aligned with business objectives.
   • Drive supply chain optimization across procurement, production, and logistics.
2. Operations Management Across Global Sites
   • Ensure a global footprint considering manufacturing strategy, capacity planning, and plant balancing.
   • Coordinate supply chain activities across all manufacturing sites for consistency and efficiency.
3. Supplier and Procurement Management / Logistics and Distribution
   • Develop and maintain global supplier relationships and standards.
   • Drive cost reduction, supplier consolidation, and risk diversification.
   • Optimize distribution strategies to reduce lead times and costs.
4. Inventory and Demand Planning
   • Lead S&OP processes to align demand and supply.
   • Implement inventory strategies to balance working capital and service levels.
5. Team Leadership and Development
   • Lead a geographically dispersed team fostering collaboration across cultures.
   • Promote continuous improvement and fact-based decision making.
6. Digital Transformation and Technology Integration
   • Leverage data analytics for visibility and decision support.
   • Champion automation and digitalization initiatives.

Your Profile

• Technical university degree.
• Extensive experience in global manufacturing, procurement, logistics, and transformation.
• Strong cross-cultural leadership experience, e.g., as plant manager.
• Change leadership mindset with strategic vision, data-driven decision making, and implementation skills.
• Resilient under pressure with operational excellence.
• Fluent in German and English, with willingness to travel worldwide.
