Position
Fleet Manager (m/f/d) Offshore
Responsibilities and Objectives
- Coordination and monitoring of safe and efficient fleet operations in accordance with the highest global standards of international ship management, relevant legislation and quality standards.
- Impeccable control and management of the Planned Maintenance System (PMS), repair and maintenance activities, management of vessel inspections/audits, dockings, major projects and sustainable commercial viability of the fleet vessels.
- Coordinate the various functional aspects of the team configuration like technical management, Marine Superintendents, and purchasing teams, applying appropriate leadership to ensure that fleet team members are trained, coached and mentored as required to evolve a strong and cohesive team.
- Meet with customers and support their development by meeting and exceeding their expectations on operational integrity, safety and security.
- As part of the management team, stay abreast of all latest developments in the company and industry. Engage actively with the owners’ representatives to understand their short and long-term requirements and ensure compliance with these.
- Be responsible for a highly modern fleet of Service Operation Vessels (SOVs) and Commissioning SOVs (CSOVs), operating at the forefront of offshore wind support.
- Work closely with a highly motivated and enthusiastic team that is passionate about innovation and excellence in offshore ship management.
- As a leading ship manager in the offshore segment, contribute to maintaining and further developing our strong market position.
Requirements
Education & Work Experience:
- B.S. degree in Nautical Science, Mechanical, Electrical or Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture or equivalent, or Chief Engineer’s or Master’s qualification
- Experience in the offshore-industry is beneficial: gained either during time on board in a senior position or in a similar shore position
- Have been working in a leadership or superintendent position for a ship-owning or ship-managing company for 5+ years
- Bring 2-3 years’ experience in leading a team in a shore position.
