Overview

Calling all former fast jet Pilots & WSOs – time to step back into the cockpit, this time in the virtual battlespace. At Airbus Defence and Space in Manching, we’re looking for seasoned operators to join our Eurofighter Simulator Operational Factors team. Your mission:

Responsibilities

• Put the Pilot Synthetic Training System (PSTS) through its paces
• Run operational acceptance tests from the front seat and the Instructor Operator Station
• Support Air/Air and Air/Surface tactical training
• Help shape the future of combat training with VR, networked combat environments, and next-gen synthetic solutions

This is more than just “flying a desk.” You’ll use your hard-earned fighter experience to make sure the next generation of Eurofighter pilots get the most realistic, mission-ready training possible.

Qualifications

• Former fast jet Pilot or WSO (instructor/weapon-instructor background a big plus)
• Deep understanding of fighter ops & training environments
• Experience with sims, systems & working in joint/international environments

Location: Manching (close to Munich – Bavarian countryside meets city life)
