Who We Are

The mission has started. We proudly announce that in our Battery Valley we are starting our own battery cell production and the ramp up of our worldwide headquarters for global cell manufacturing. The CTO organization takes care of the battery cell development. Our responsibility includes research, predevelopment of materials and components, series development, prototyping, testing and analysis of battery cells.

Your Role And Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage BOMs for battery cells, components and materials.
  • Collaborate with engineering, R&D, procurement, and manufacturing teams to ensure BOM accuracy and completeness.
  • Maintain BOMs in PLM/ERP systems.
  • Support new product introductions (NPI) and engineering change implementations
  • Improve change management processes and ensure timely updates to BOMs.
  • Standardize and improve BOM related system landscape in collaboration with IT.
  • Analyze BOM data to identify cost-saving opportunities and component standardization.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

What You Bring To The Team

  • Master’s degree in engineering, supply chain, production planning or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in BOM management, preferably in the battery, automotive, or process industry.
  • Strong understanding of battery components, materials, and manufacturing processes.
  • Proficiency with PLM/ERP systems, BOM management tools and product versioning.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to data accuracy and process improvement.
  • Business fluent English

What Makes You Stand Out

  • Knowledge of ISO 9001, IATF 16949, or similar quality standards.
  • Experience in material number nomenclature.
  • Familiarity with CAD tools and engineering drawings.
