Your role :

• As a Search Engineer (m / f / d), you’ll design and scale robust product search systems that keep our customers engaged and make it easier to shop
• You build and optimize an Elasticsearch-based search solution to help customers quickly find products and DIY guides
• You develop backend services and data pipelines in Java and Python to process and enrich product data and user behavior signals
• You work with our product, UX, and content teams to improve search relevance and deliver better discovery experiences
• You use Google Cloud Platform tools (. BigQuery, Cloud Run, Vertex AI, Pub / Sub or Dataflow) to handle large volumes of product and user data
• You monitor search performance, identify ranking opportunities, and implement solutions to boost engagement and conversion
• You contribute to technical strategy for search and conversational commerce

Your profile :

Successfully completed studies in Computer Science or Business Informatics or a comparable training . as IT specialist (m / f / d)

Hands-on experience building and fine-tuning search systems using Elasticsearch

Strong programming skills in modern Java and Python with practical experience working with GCP services like BigQuery, Cloud Run, Vertex AI, Pub / Sub, and Dataflow

Solid understanding of e-commerce search, product data, and relevance tuning

Passion for delivering fast, relevant, and user-friendly search experiences

Strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset
