About your tasks

• Team Leadership & Development : Mentor and grow a high‑performing diverse team of software engineers. Foster a culture of ownership collaboration and engineering excellence.
• Technical Oversight : Guide architectural direction and ensure best practices in engineering with hands‑on knowledge of microservices and React‑based frontend applications. Ensure the reliability performance and scalability of systems especially in high‑throughput AdTech environments.
• Product & Delivery Ownership : Partner closely with Product to define and prioritize team roadmaps. Ensure high‑quality execution and timely delivery of features and improvements.
• Cross‑Functional Collaboration : Act as a key technical and delivery partner to Product Development Retail Media and Business stakeholders. Drive alignment across multiple teams and functions while advocating for team needs and system health.

Qualifications : About you

• Several years of experience as an Engineering Manager leading teams in building modern applications.
• Proven track record in scaling and mentoring engineering teams in high‑growth environments.
• Background in JavaScript / TypeScript and React.
• Experience in AdTech Retail Media or data‑intensive platforms is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills you can navigate technical and business discussions with confidence.
• Deep understanding of Agile / Scrum methodologies and a continuous delivery mindset.

Our offices are open but you are free to work from home from any location in Germany. It is entirely up to you if you want to pop into the office every now and again or if you work from home all the time.
