Your Responsibilities
As Energy Data Analyst Lead you will shape Entrix’s analytics strategy, drive cross‑functional alignment, and amplify business impact through data.
- Lead product & market analytics: Analyze trading algorithm performance and market behavior to provide actionable insights.
- Drive strategic insights: Partner with leadership on data‑driven decision‑making to shape product roadmap and business priorities.
- Mentor & lead: Guide analysts through mentorship and technical leadership, fostering a culture of analytical excellence.
- Align cross‑functional analytics: Coordinate analytics efforts across product, engineering, data science, and commercial domains.
- Enable data‑driven learning: Develop and maintain analytics frameworks, KPIs, and tooling. Embed insights into processes for continuous learning.
- Engage with stakeholders: Dive into deep‑dives on findings with external stakeholders, tailoring insights to their needs.
Your Profile
Mandatory requirements:
- Degree in Engineering, Data Science, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
- 7+ years of experience as a data analyst, data scientist, software engineer, energy trader, or researcher, ideally in energy trading or SaaS.
- Deep expertise in energy markets and flexibility optimization.
- Advanced proficiency in Python, SQL, and applied statistical methods (hypothesis testing, A/B testing, time series, predictive analytics).
- Strong understanding of cloud development principles and core AWS components.
- Proven experience leading complex, cross‑functional analytical projects.
- Excellent communication skills with a track record of influencing stakeholders at executive levels.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken).
Skills that set you apart:
- Experience in high‑growth startups or scale‑ups.
- Hands‑on knowledge of trading algorithms, optimization models, or market simulations.
- Advanced data visualization (Grafana, Plotly, custom dashboards).
- Strong technical foundation in energy storage systems (especially BESS).
- Experience creating analytical platforms in close collaboration with engineering teams.
- Familiarity with software development best practices.
This role is not a fit if
- You are primarily experienced with no‑code BI tools (Tableau, Power BI) without strong coding skills.
- You are not passionate about energy markets and their complexities.
- You are uncomfortable working with ambiguity, rapid experimentation, and evolving priorities.
