Responsibilities
- Design and Development

- Use tools like MATLAB, AutoCAD Electrical, and PSpice for simulations and design.
- Create schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical specifications.
- Testing and Troubleshooting
- Conduct tests to evaluate system performance, safety, and reliability.
- Diagnose and solve technical issues in hardware and electrical systems.
- Implement improvements based on test results and feedback.
- Project Management
- Plan and manage electrical projects from concept to completion.
- Estimate material costs, labor requirements, and timelines.
- Ensure projects meet deadlines, budgets, and safety standards.
- Installation and Maintenance
- Oversee the installation of electrical systems and equipment.
- Develop maintenance schedules and procedures to prevent downtime.
- Inspect installations to ensure compliance with codes and standards.
- Compliance and Safety
- Ensure electrical designs adhere to local and international standards (e.g., NEC, IEEE).
- Conduct risk assessments and implement safety protocols.
- Work closely with regulatory bodies to obtain permits and approvals.
- Collaboration and Communication
- Work with cross-functional teams including mechanical engineers, software developers, and project managers.
- Communicate technical information clearly to stakeholders and clients.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and documentation for internal and external use.
- Innovation and Research
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends (e.g., renewable energy, IoT).
- Research and develop energy-efficient and sustainable solutions.
- Participate in prototype development and patent filings when applicable.
