Product Operations Director (m/f/d) – Munich

Responsibilities
  • Product Operations & Enablement Strategy: Define and execute the product operations strategy, building an operational engine within the product development cycle – from planning discovery to software and hardware engineering – driven by data and metrics.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, develop, and empower a team of Product Operations & Enablement experts, centering product and portfolio management processes and integrating adjacent teams for project management and lean delivery.
  • Product Discovery & Delivery: Support discovery and delivery with the necessary skill sets in your team, ensuring the product teams’ success and effectiveness.
  • Change Management: Support and shape change processes in the product engineering departments, actively improving delivery practices.
  • Stakeholder Alignment: Represent the product operations perspective in leadership and stakeholder forums, driving alignment across departments on collaboration in the development cycle.
  • Excellence Culture: Foster a culture of ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement within your team.
Qualifications
  • Experience: 10+ years in Product Management, including at least 2 years in a senior leadership role and dedicated product operations; experience in engineering or project management organizations is a plus.
  • Track Record: Proven success driving change in international, fast‑moving product organizations with diverse stakeholders.
  • Hard Skills: Lean software and hardware engineering principles; IoT experience is a plus; experience in change management, project management, and portfolio management.
  • People Development: Structured, effective coaching and team development approach.
  • Passion: Passion for fitness, health, and technology, motivated by purpose‑driven product work.
  • Languages: Business fluent in English; German is a plus.

  • Product Ecosystem: Deep knowledge of the EGYM product ecosystem.
  • Team Relationships: Earn trust and appreciation of your team and key cross‑functional partners (engineering, sales, etc.).
  • Strategic Impact: Contribute to major product operations initiatives (e.g., improve current product planning & alignment processes), shape team strategy, and solve high‑impact challenges.
