A leading robotics technology company in Germany is seeking a DevOps Engineer to help build and maintain a reliable infrastructure for deploying their innovative solutions. The role involves collaborating closely with cross-functional teams and providing training for others. Candidates should possess a strong Linux background, familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes, and a hands-on problem-solving approach. As a DevOps Engineer at Wandelbots, the mission for you and your team is: Build, run, and own a reliable and easy-to-use operating system and infrastructure, that will be used to deploy the Wandelbots solutions. Provide proper testing and documentation and have a close eye on security-related topics for industry IT.
The team is planning, developing, and releasing the operating system as well as corresponding central infrastructure that our application developers rely on to deploy our products for customers. Working closely with peers both in the team and beyond, getting a good understanding of customer demands, and taking responsibility are key for the team. Providing support for their product comes as a natural part of the team's DevOps mindset.
An open mind that allows you to learn new things, but also teach your knowledge to others is a huge plus. You will have dedicated time to learn and experiment. You will work with on-premise and cloud services alike.
