Join our team and play a key role in leading and driving our customer solution architect team based in Erlangen, Germany and Chennai, India with an entrepreneurial spirit and a passion for developing sustainable applications for our portfolio across the Industry, Infrastructure and Power Verticals. We are an international team within the Electrification & Automation business unit, focused on developing opportunities with global customers and handling cross-regional business opportunities. We drive end-to-end business opportunities from conception to acquisition according to Siemens process guidelines, with full responsibility for Data Centers (IEC World), E-House projects, and conventional systems involving Medium Voltage, Low Voltage, and process automation. We drive IoT and data-driven business through consultative selling, offering cloud (Electrification X) and On-Premise (SIMARIS Control) solutions. Our focus verticals include Automotive, Chemicals, Data Centers, Infrastructure, Minerals, Oil and Gas, and Water. Who are we looking for?

You’ll make an impact

• You engage in consultative technical discussions with customers to understand business challenges, industry trends, and technical difficulties, and work with the Account Management team to develop account-specific strategies.
• You develop customer-tailored end-to-end blueprints with the Solution Engineering teams and implement roadmaps considering direct and indirect implementation channels.
• You lead a team and translate customers\' complex technical requirements into a clear technical vision, digital threads, use cases and scenarios.
• You ensure clear technical documentation and solution presentations and maintain strong technical knowledge of industry trends and competitive solutions; you broaden knowledge of our One Tech capabilities.
• You are responsible for supporting the development of solution-based automation and digitalization concepts.
• You act as a bridge between Account Management teams and Solution Engineering/PLM teams, drive technical aspects of business case development, and collaborate on sophisticated technical proposals.
• You orchestrate collaboration across internal and external partners to co-create complex solutions and deliver market feedback to relevant parts of the organization.

Your defining qualities

You have many years of experience in power transmission and distribution systems or projects from medium voltage to low voltage in critical environments. You have experience in designing communication infrastructure concepts, knowledge of common communication protocols, and an understanding of integrating third-party portfolio elements (inverters, UPS, batteries, transformers), network design and calculation. You have knowledge of communication technology (hardware, protocols, architecture development). You can communicate, present, and influence key technical partners at all levels, manage multiple projects with attention to detail, and show initiative. You are eager and energetic, able to pursue opportunities proactively. You demonstrate resilience to manage short and long design cycles, and have an interest in interface management and creative thinking beyond industry standards. Willingness to travel, a Master\'s degree, and proficiency in German and English complete your profile.
