Main tasks

• Support the preparation and completion of annual financial statements in accordance with HGB and IFRS for group entities
• Post and monitor accruals and deferrals in compliance with commercial and tax regulations
• Create, evaluate, and maintain provisions, including preparation and consolidation of provision schedules
• Perform intercompany reconciliations and ensure accurate accounting of intra‑group transactions
• Independently post and review all payroll‑related transactions within salary and wage accounting
• Post facility cost allocations and other internal cost allocations
• Process and correctly account for factoring transactions
• Implement and maintain lease accounting under IFRS 16
• Execute scheduled depreciation runs (AfA) for assigned entities
• Work closely with the Controlling team and other Finance departments

Profile

• Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or completed apprenticeship (e.g. Industriekaufmann / Industriekauffrau, Kaufmann / Kauffrau für Büromanagement)
• Certified Balance Sheet Accountant (Bilanzbuchhalter IHK)
• Practical experience in financial accounting, preferably in an international environment
• Solid knowledge of German GAAP (HGB) and IFRS, with particular focus on IFRS 16 (Lease Accounting)
• Experience with accruals and deferrals, provisions, intercompany accounting, and payroll‑related accounting entries
• Experience working with ERP systems (e.g. SAP FI/CO) and strong MS Excel skills
• Preferable good understanding of commercial and tax accounting requirements
• Structured, reliable, and proactive working style with strong analytical skills
• Professional fluency in English; good German language proficiency is an advantage
