Your role and responsibilities

As a Contract Manager for the Sales organization in the Marine and Ports division of Process Automation, you will manage a variety of contract-related tasks. This role involves collaboration, process optimization, and professional goal orientation, requiring strong negotiation skills.The work model for the role is: hybridThis role is contributing to the Process Automation, Marine & Ports in Hamburg.Your role and responsibilities• Draft, negotiate, and finalize individual and framework contracts (purchase and work contracts).• Conduct contract award negotiations and review contracts.• Identify risks in tenders and related agreements with customers and suppliers.• Participate in risk reviews and manage the internal contract database.• Assist in preparing quotations and handling claim management.• Provide training on Contract Management and coordinate signature regulations.• Work closely with the Legal organization in Germany.

Qualifications for the role

• Degree in business administration, commercial law, or related field, with several years of experience in contract management or commercial project management.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in contract law, with strong knowledge of BGB debt law.
• Proficient in contract drafting and auditing, with a willingness to adapt to market changes.
• Fluent in German and English, with strong negotiation and assertiveness skills.
• Ability to work independently and a willingness to travel.
