Commercial Excellence Manager – Western Europe

This position works out of our Dubai/Cologne location in the Abbott Rapid Diagnostics – Infectious Diseases.

What You’ll Do:
  • Implement and monitor Business Intelligence models for customer segmentation and targeting.
  • Drive Sales Force Effectiveness (SFE) initiatives and educate the organization on SFE concepts.
  • Analyze market data to identify growth opportunities and support strategic decisions.
  • Plan and monitor sales targets, KPIs, and performance metrics.
  • Own and manage sales incentive plans, including bonus design and calculations.
  • Provide competitive intelligence and insights to support business development and strategic planning.
  • Conduct gap analysis and propose new sales force strategies, including resource allocation and geographical deployment.
  • Lead productivity workshops and facilitate improvement action plans.
  • Partner with cross‑functional teams (HR, IT, Marketing, Medical) to optimize processes and productivity.
  • Perform ongoing data analysis, benchmarking, and corrective action recommendations.
Required Qualifications
  • BCom/BSc Degree
  • MBA desirable with preferred focus on Strategy, Marketing and Finance
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in sales roles.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Seasoned experience in Sales and or Marketing
  • Relevant Experience in Commercial Excellence in Healthcare Industry preferably in Diagnostics, medical devices, or pharmaceuticals.
  • Product/industry knowledge, technical/business acumen Business Knowledge
  • Strong project experience in Commercial Area
  • Full Understanding of the SFE principles is a must
Commercial Knowledge
IT Systems / Skills
  • Strong computer skills in Microsoft Excel (Advanced) Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • PowerBI and Salesforce.com
