A global reinsurance leader is looking for a Claims Expert to manage a complex portfolio of claims with a focus on German and Nordic clients. This role requires a seasoned professional with a degree in law and at least 5 years of experience in liability/property claims. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities in both German and English, and a commitment to innovative solutions. A competitive salary range of EUR 87,000 to EUR 145,000 applies, along with performance-based compensation and various benefits.
As a Claims Expert in our Property & Casualty Reinsurance Claims team, you'll manage a diverse portfolio of important, large, and complex claims with a focus on German and Nordic clients. Based in Munich, Frankfurt a. M. or Hamburg and reporting to the Head Claims Northern, Central Eastern Europe (NCEE) & Globals NCEE, you'll play a crucial role in our claims strategy and execution.
This is a great opportunity for you to be part of our experienced Claims Team within our P&C Reinsurance NCEE Market Unit. We are currently looking for a key individual with exemplary thought leadership skills and sound experience in legal matters who will be instrumental in advising Claims Experts providing high‑quality claims service for the NCEE Market Unit.
You will handle client and stakeholder relationships at all levels of seniority. Your legal background enables us to evidence Thought Leadership activities, adequate market, and cross functional team representation as well as excellent portfolio monitoring.

For Germany, the base salary range for this position is between EUR 87,000 and EUR 145,000 (for a full‑time role). The specific salary offered considers the requirements, scope, complexity and responsibilities of the role, the applicant's own profile including education / qualifications, expertise, specialisation, skills and experience.
