Responsibilities
  • Developing and implementing a global procurement strategy for Transport, Packaging, Warehouse Equipment, and Forklifts/AGVs, aligned with corporate goals and regional requirements
  • Leading supplier selection, negotiations, and contract management to ensure cost efficiency, service quality, and long-term value creation
  • Managing strategic supplier relationships, conducting performance reviews, and initiating continuous improvement measures
  • Acting as functional lead for the global NPM Logistics team, fostering cross-regional collaboration and capability building
  • Supporting the roll-out and optimization of digital procurement and logistics solutions (e.g., TMS, SAP)
  • Providing cost estimates and driving savings initiatives in close cooperation with Direct Material Purchasing and Sales
  • Preparing and maintaining reports on procurement performance, savings achievements, and supplier KPIs
  • Ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations, and contributing to audits and risk assessments
  • Collaborating in cross-functional projects with logistics, supply chain, and finance teams to enhance end-to-end efficiency
Qualifications
  • Degree or vocational training in logistics, procurement, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in transport or logistics procurement
  • Proficient in SAP and Excel; experience with Transport Management Systems (TMS) is a plus
  • Strong negotiation skills and fluent communication in English
  • Team-oriented mindset with intercultural competence and a natural ability to build networks
