As the initial point of contact for our most strategic prospect accounts, you will play a pivotal role in driving Personio’s growth within our largest customer segment. Leveraging thorough account and industry research, you will develop and deliver tailored messaging that resonates with key stakeholders across different regions and sectors. Your industry expertise will inspire and engage decision makers at Germany’s leading Mittelstand companies—opening doors, identifying opportunities, and initiating high-impact HR transformation projects that set the foundation for long-term partnerships.

The work you’ll do :
  • Prospect into strategic mid-market accounts via cold call, email and social selling strategies, to achieve a monthly quota of qualified opportunities and pipeline value
  • Handling typical outbound sales objections, to remove obstacles from the selling landscape and ensure that opportunities progress
  • Qualifying potential value drivers and solution fit by engaging with key decision makers to discover pains and company goals
  • Generate sales pipeline and develop opportunities for a team of Account Executives
  • Do thorough account and industry research, to maintain and organize an annual book of business
  • Be a subject matter expert on state-of-the-art HR technology and processes
  • Develop and execute creative multi-threading strategies for targeting different decision-makers at prospect accounts
What we're looking for
  • 1 years of outbound sales experience in B2B SaaS, tech or cloud solution sales

Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) is required

Languages required : fluency in German & English

You are competitive, resilient, and highly driven - you thrive in a fast‑paced sales environment

Proactivity, strong communication & problem‑solving skills – comfortable handling objections and driving conversations

Experience in Salesforce is a plus

Strong business acumen is a plus - being able to speak the language of C‑level executives
