Emerson seeks a Business Development Manager Utilities Germany to drive sales growth of Professional Tools products in the Utility Segment. This role focuses on building relationships with local utility companies, understanding customer needs, conducting field tests, and developing strategic sales plans. The ideal candidate will possess a technical degree, strong business acumen, and excellent communication skills in English, with knowledge of French and/or German as a plus.

Qualifikationen

  • Proven success in formulating, presenting, executing, and measuring business plans.

  • Work closely with utility and electrical distribution customers to understand their needs and offer suitable solutions.
  • Conduct field tests, develop specifications with stakeholders, and coordinate the sales process to closure.
  • Drive growth in the focus industry through direct customer contact and collaboration with channel partners.
  • Coach and direct Area Sales Managers and Sales Reps.
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to increase sales and profits.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key utility customers and strategic partners.
  • Perform product demonstrations, training, and provide technical support.
  • Provide input to Product Management and Engineering on new product needs and market expansion.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on product applications.
  • Develop and execute annual business plans and sales forecasts.

The Business Development Manager Utilities Germany is responsible for driving sales growth and profitability of Professional Tools products in the Utility Segment in Germany by working closely with local electrical utility companies, utility subcontractors, and key channel partners. He/she builds the business plan for the region in collaboration with key partners based on market research and competitor analysis. The role involves building networks within the utility segment, offering product demonstrations, providing input to other departments, and working closely with local sales teams. The position reports to the Head of Business Development in Europe.

Responsibilities:
