As a Business Development Manager you’ll play a key role in driving our wholesale strategy across Germany and Austria. You’ll be part of a collaborative forward-thinking team that values innovation, integrity and client success.

What you’ll be doing:
  • Partnering with the Head of Wholesale Distribution to deliver our German wholesale strategy
  • Managing and growing a portfolio of B2B and B2B2C clients across ETFs and pooled funds
  • Building strong relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders
  • Representing L&G Asset Management at key client meetings, events and presentations
  • Collaborating with product, marketing, compliance and finance teams
  • Analysing market trends and competitor activity to inform strategy
  • Supporting the development of tailored client engagement plans
  • Promoting L&G Asset Management’s full product range with a focus on ETFs and digital retail channels
Qualifications:
  • Experience in asset management, private banking or financial services sales
  • Proven ability to build and manage strong client relationships
  • Knowledge of ETFs and the European investment landscape
  • Strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively across diverse teams and functions
  • Fluent in German and English both written and spoken
  • A proactive, adaptable mindset with strong analytical thinking
  • A degree in finance, economics, business or a related field (CFA or Masters a plus)
