1 . MAIN ACTIVITIES:
The Regional Quality Director is responsible leader and strategy in the region CE for the following functions:
Deploy OPmobilities quality objectives, improve Quality mindset, robustness of processes and discipline, fully deploy of quality procedures, meet regional quality objectives, improve quality cross regional cooperation, implement best practices and lessons learned in the region and enhance quality understanding and knowledge of the Quality Team across the Region CE.
This position is responsible for the prevention, management and resolution of any quality topics. A proactive preventive approach by challenged exchange of Lessons LearnedProvide timely and effective improvements and resolution for all non-conformities either process or product related, raised either internally or externally. Work is performed in a fast-paced environment within tight time constraints.
Frequent domestic, regional and international travels are required to resolve issues.
Quality Leadership and Strategy :
Integrated Management System (IMS)
Customer & Engineering Quality
Quality Operations
Team & Stakeholder Management
Bachelor or Master’s Degree in engineering or related technical field, or equivalent experience required.
Quality related higher education/certification etc. preferred.
Minimum of 10 years relevant industrial experience in quality, engineering, or manufacturing required.
Experience in the automotive lighting industry preferred.
Experience in national and international leadership required
Should have managed all spectrum of quality in senior positions at minimum of 5 years.
Ability to frequent travel locally, nationally and internationally as required.
Good command in English. Any other language is added advantage.
Should be able to work under fast paced situations, with both physical and mental agility.
Knowledge of quality system industry standards (i.e. ISO14001, IATF16949)
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma tools and techniques preferred.
Ability to maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Must be flexible, dependable and creative.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Strong leadership and influencing skills to achieve quality objectives and to support regional objectives.
Ability to collect, maintain and analyze data efficiently and effectively.
Must be able to manage time of self and others, determine priorities and objectives, and delegate effectively.
Ability to perform mathematical calculations. Problem analysis skills.
Customer warranty system knowledge. Familiarity with test/inspection parameters.
Knowledge of and ability to develop and utilize PFMEA/DFMEA tools, VAVE knowledge.
Ability to effectively manage performance of subordinates /team as well as train and develop their capability.
Good command over communication.

Reporting line (subordinate): CEO / President of the Region Central Europe
