A leading European bank is seeking an Associate for its German M&A team. The successful candidate will be involved in financial analysis, valuation, and the preparation of presentations. Requirements include a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance or a related field, 3 years of experience in investment banking, and fluency in German and English. As an Associate you will work in German M&A team directly with senior bankers in country, industry and coverage teams on the origination and execution of investment banking mandates. This includes a wide variety of tasks, such as financial statement analysis, financial modelling, company and industry research, preparation of client presentations, deal documentations, etc.
The German M&A-Team advises major clients on their strategic analysis and execution of M&A transactions, considering the relevant legal structures and potential capital market consequences.
