Littelfuse, a global leader in power semiconductor products, is seeking a Power Semiconductor Application Engineer (f/m/d) to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the development, verification, and built-up of evaluation boards, reference designs, and demonstrators for our power semiconductor products.

About the job:

• Dimensioning of electrical, mechanical, and thermal aspects of power semiconductor applications.

• Build-up of evaluation boards, reference designs, and demonstrators, including PCB design, mechanical construction, and lab verification (electrical and thermal).

• Create technical content based on measurements, including application notes, white papers, presentations, articles, and conference papers.

• Collaborate with global application engineering teams, product lines, and sales/FAE teams.

About you:

• Bachelor’s degree in Power Electronics Engineering.

• 2-3 years’ experience in the power semiconductor industry or in the development of power semiconductor applications.

• Hands-on lab experience with power semiconductor applications.

• Strong knowledge of power semiconductor physics (thyristors, MOSFETs, diodes, IGBTs) and power electronics (topologies, snubber circuits, driver circuits, protection functions, control schemes, application-specific knowledge, international standards).

• Experience with simulations, PCB design, electrical measurements, design verification, and mechanical design of evaluation boards, reference designs, and demonstrators.

• Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills.

• Fluent in English (written and spoken); German is a plus.

• Team player with ability to work across international teams and stakeholders
