Tasks and responsibilities
  • Design, code, test, deploy, maintain and enhance software solutions.
  • Take an active role in understanding business requirements and translating them into technological solutions.
  • Ask questions, challenge assumptions and bring your unique perspective as a software engineer to the table.
  • Use your technical expertise to support users.
  • Support the team by sharing knowledge, providing feedback, supporting others in their development and showing leadership.
Desired skills and qualifications
  • Strong interest in Flight Physics, Loads or Aeroelastics and an understanding of how development tools shape aircraft design.
  • Strong foundation in object‑oriented programming and hands‑on experience in Python.
  • Familiarity with MATLAB for data analysis, scripting and visualization.
  • Knowledge of Linux environments and scientific computing methods applied in aerospace analysis.
  • Commitment to code quality; experience with Git, static code analysis, unit testing and issue tracking is an advantage.
  • Good communication skills as an active and open collaborator.
