The Accounts Payable Team Leader is responsible for supervising the accounts payable team ensuring the accurate and timely processing of invoices and payments maintaining vendor relationships and supporting month-end and year-end financial closings. Your Tasks

• Supervise and lead a team of AP clerks / specialists.
• Oversee invoice processing payment runs and expense reimbursements.
• Ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
• Monitor AP aging reports and resolve outstanding issues with vendors.
• Coordinate with procurement and other departments to ensure proper invoice matching and coding.
• Assist with month-end closing tasks including accruals and reconciliations.
• Train and develop team members to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and implement best practices.
• Maintain up-to-date documentation of AP procedures and controls.
• Respond to internal and external inquiries in a timely and professional manner.

You Bring

• Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field.
• Proven experience in accounts payable or general accounting (5-7 years) within an international company
• Previous supervisory experience required.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and AP best practices.
• Experience with accounting software Netsuite preferred
• Proficiency in MS Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent organizational analytical and communication skills.
• High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
