Responsibilities
  • Business Development & Sales: Identify and acquire new customers in the German healthcare sector, focusing on hospitals and healthcare facilities.
  • Account Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers in hospitals, including IT, procurement, and medical staff.
  • Solution Selling: Understand customer needs and offer tailored IT solutions, including mobile computing, barcode scanning, RFID, and communication software. Market & Industry Knowledge: Stay informed about KHZG funding programs, hospital logistics, and digital transformation trends in healthcare.
  • Networking & Partnerships: Leverage existing hospital networks and expand partnerships with system integrators, software providers, and healthcare IT vendors.
  • Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and execute sales strategies to meet revenue targets and increase market share.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including pre-sales, product management, and marketing, to ensure successful project implementation.
  • Reporting & Forecasting: Provide regular sales reports, pipeline updates, and market insights to management.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in sales and business development in the healthcare sector (preferably hospitals, clinics, or healthcare IT solutions).
  • Existing network within German hospitals (CIOs, IT managers, logistics managers, nursing staff, procurement).
  • Strong hunter mentality with a track record of acquiring new customers and closing deals.
  • IT knowledge, preferably in healthcare solutions such as MDE (mobile data entry), RFID, barcode scanning, label printing, and hospital IT infrastructure.
  • Knowledge of healthcare workflows, including nursing, logistics, and KHZG funding projects.
  • Strong communication skills in German (native/fluent) and English (business fluent).
  • High level of self-motivation and independence, with the ability to work remotely and travel within Germany and DACH
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with KHZG-funded projects and digital transformation in hospitals.
  • Familiarity with hospital ERP systems, HIS (Hospital Information Systems), and clinical workflows.
  • Previous experience with B2B healthcare IT sales or working with system integrators in the medical sector.
