A senior living organization in Kitchener is looking for a Maintenance Assistant to execute routine repairs and conduct minor maintenance tasks. The role requires a self-regulating individual able to manage physical demands and uphold safety standards while working with vulnerable adults. Candidates should have knowledge in areas such as plumbing and electrical work, and must provide a current Vulnerable Sector Check. Join our team to make a real difference in residents' lives.
Qualifications
- Candidate must be able to perform physical duties including moving heavy objects.
- Knowledge in plumbing, electrical, heating, and mechanical repairs is essential.
- Must provide a current Vulnerable Sector Check or be willing to obtain one.
Responsabilités
- Execute routine repairs and conduct minor maintenance tasks.
- Inspect the premises from a maintenance and safety standpoint.
- Fulfill housekeeping and maintenance duties as required.
