We are looking for a Junior CNC Maintenance Technician to join our team at our facility in Oakville, Ontario.

ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Troubleshoot hydraulic, pneumatic systems where possible.
• Assess breakdowns, when possible repair, if not, notify supervisor for need of third party assistance.
• Determine which tools, techniques, and tools to use when completing jobs.
• Preventative Maintenance (PM) of various types of machines including determining what maintenance is required.
• Track and document PM reports and downtime.
• Conduct general facility maintenance tasks.
• Operate hoisting and lifting devices such as cranes, jacks and forklifts, as required.
• Work safely with a range of hand tools.

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:

• 1 to 2 years’ experience working as a CNC Maintenance Technician in a manufacturing environment or similar job.
• College Diploma or Trades certificate preferred but not required.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills working within a team-based environment.
• Strong ability to work independently to complete assignments promptly while maintaining the high standards required in our industry.
• Experience using lifting devices (cranes and fork-lifts).

The base salary range for this position in Ontario (CA-ON) at the start of employment is expected to be between $44,000 and $69,000 per year. However, the base salary offered is based on local job market factors and may vary further depending on factors specific to the selected job candidate, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations. Subject to these considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, such as an annual cash incentive in addition to a full range of medical, retirement, and/or other benefits. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided at such time the selected job candidate receives an offer of employment.
