Job summary

Job description

Restoration 1 of OKC is seeking candidates for Restoration / Mitigation Technicians. Main duties include emergency response, mitigation and cleanup of properties damaged by fire, water and mold. Restoration 1 of OKC is located in Yukon, OK. We believe that building lasting relationships with our local community will lead to satisfied customers, and those relationships starts with our great employees.
We are looking to hire a restoration technician possessing an in-depth knowledge of nearly all aspects of property restoration. This individual will help us improve our capability to render professional-level service in a timely and quality manner. This is a critical position that will allow us to sustain our competitive edge in the restoration marketplace

Responsibilities:

• Perform production/restoration process per work order and crew chief instructions
• Inventory and load the work vehicle with equipment, products, and supplies needed for each project
• Maintain a clean and organized vehicle along with clean equipment
• Prepare rooms/areas for work activities
• Leave job site with a clean and orderly appearance
• Communicate openly with crew chief and other technicians
• 24 hour Emergency Mitigation Services are offered in the Oklahoma City metro, so this position will carry a rotating, weekly on call schedule for after hours and weekend work. Regular schedule is 8:00 am - 4:30 pm, but must be flexible to work any time of day and any day of the week as needed.
  
  

Qualifications:

• Ability to exhibit a high attention to detail ensuring the highest quality of workmanship throughout restoration projects.
• Ability to perform water/fire/mold damage cleaning tasks.
• Understand and execute work orders in a timely and professional manner.
• Ability to operate efficiently with minimum supervision.
• Must have excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Willingness to participate in all training as needed or required.
• Follow established safety rules and regulations.
• Ability to provide crew leaders and company management with timely and accurate information related to the progress and status of projects.
• A clean, valid driver's license required.
• IICRC Certification (Cleaning and Restoration Certification) is a plus.
  
  
  
  
  

Physical Requirements :

• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds regularly, occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance
• Ability to climb ladders, work at ceiling heights, work in tight spaces (e.g., crawls spaces, attics)
• Ability to sit/stand/walk for prolonged periods of time
• Ability to repetitively push/pull/lift/carry objects
• Ability to work with/around cleaning products/chemicals
• Ability to travel locally and out of state when necessary

Compensation: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
