Job summary
A company in business development based in Saint John, New Brunswick, is seeking a Manager, Business Development to identify sales opportunities and lead the bid management process. The ideal candidate will have a relevant educational background and at least five years of experience in a related field. Strong communication skills are essential. This role involves managing customer relationships and ensuring successful bid submissions. Competitive compensation package offered.
Qualifications
- Five or more years of relevant commercial experience with sales, estimating, and contract management preferred.
- Superior communication and interpersonal skills, including meeting facilitation.
- Exceptional written and communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Identify and execute sales strategy in key market segments.
- Manage the bid process including initiating bid meetings with internal stakeholders.
- Document customer requirements and create proposals.
