Overview

Job Title: Land Development Manager (Multifamily and Commercial Construction)

Location: Campbell River, British Columbia

Salary: $115k to $130k annually

We are looking for you if you love to connect visionary design and regulatory execution. You will lead the coordination of internal and external teams, engage with city and provincial stakeholders, and ensure every project aligns with local planning goals and regulations

What You’ll Do:
  • Lead collaboration between in-house designers and external consultants to develop site and building plans.
  • Prepare and submit development applications (rezoning, subdivisions, site plan control, development permits, building permits).
  • Stay current on municipal bylaws, zoning regulations, and provincial policies.
  • Liaise with city planners and government officials to navigate approval processes.
  • Manage consultant deliverables to ensure timely and accurate submissions.
  • Represent the company in public consultations and city meetings.
  • Support land acquisition teams with site evaluations and concept planning.
What You Bring:
  • 5+ years of experience in land planning for multifamily and commercial projects.
  • A degree in Design, Architecture, or Urban & Regional Planning.
  • Registered Professional Planner (RPP) designation.
  • Proven success navigating zoning bylaws, subdivision processes, and provincial legislation.
  • Experience leading small project teams (1–3 people) and managing development timelines.
