Overview

We’re looking for an Assistant Gas Bar Manager at our Taylor Gas Bar in Red Deer to help oversee daily operations, support our team, and ensure a safe, positive experience for customers. Position: Assistant Gas Bar Manager

Full-time: 40 hours per week. Eligible for benefits after 3 months. If you are relocating from another province, please ensure you have AB Health coverage to be covered by our plan provider.

Availability: Weekdays and weekends – mornings, afternoons and evenings

Responsibilities
  • Maintain a friendly and cooperative attitude in the workplace each day
  • Oversee the operation and administration of the gas bar in the manager's absence
  • Manage the procurement of merchandise within the gas bar
  • Ensure the receiving and handling of merchandise meets Centre Alberta Co-op policies, procedures and standards
  • Provide leadership in the areas of loss prevention and health & safety
  • Contribute to a positive customer experience, ensuring products and service provided aligns with the expectations of external and internal customers
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the manager
Qualifications
  • Grade 12 or an acceptable combination of education and experience
  • Three (3) years retail supervisor experience
  • Business related education would be an asset
  • Some heavy lifting is required (up to 50 lbs.)
