A community services organization in Vancouver is seeking a Child Youth Worker to provide care and support to young people in staffed homes. This role involves developing intervention plans, conducting counseling sessions, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in youth services, a relevant educational background, and certifications in First Aid and CPR. A valid driver's license is essential. As our Child Youth Worker, you will work as part of a vibrant team to provide care and support to young people living in staffed homes within their community. You’ll encourage and empower the youth we support to be independent, self-determining, and live the life they envision while maintaining excellent standards of care, health, and safety. Your natural ability to care for others and work both independently and collaboratively as a member of a multidisciplinary team will allow you to influence your team’s success.

Do you have 2 years or more of experience working with one or more people living with a disability?
Do you have a valid SIN and are legally eligible to work in Canada?
Are you eligible to work in Health Service Field Occupations?
Are you a current or former employee at Pacific Coast?
If yes, who are your manager(s)?
Do you have a valid BC Class 5 Driver's Licence?
Do you have a valid BC Class 4 Driver's Licence to drive passenger vehicles?
If no Class 5 or Class 4 Driver's Licence, which Class Driver's Licence do you have?
Are you willing to relocate?
Do you have emergency first aid / CPR training?
Do you have any Non-Violent Crisis Intervention training? ie MANDT, or CPI, etc.
Do you have a valid and up-to-date Criminal Record Check? (CRCs are valid for five years)
