Remote Desk Adjuster II: Commercial Claims Expert
Job summary
A leading insurance service provider is seeking a Desk Adjuster 2 to work remotely in Canada. The successful candidate will investigate and settle claims by phone and correspondence. Required qualifications include at least 2 years of experience with commercial claims, an adjuster's license, and strong communication skills. Bilingualism in French and English is a plus. This role requires meticulous attention to detail and proficiency in Office 365.
Qualifications
- At least 2 years of experience handling Complex Commercial Claims.
- Must have Alberta license or ability to obtain it.
- Working towards full independent adjusting license and CIP designation is required.
- Ability to conduct telephone investigations and settle claims.
- Proficient in maintaining accurate and detailed records.
- Excellent communication skills and team player.
Responsibilities
- Investigate, collect, and analyze claims information.
- Evaluate coverage, liability and quantum.
- Accurately record and report files.
- Maintain billing, time, and expense records.
