IT Support Analyst
MediaValet is a leading provider of digital asset management solutions, and we are looking for a highly skilled IT Support Analyst to join the team. This position is a hybrid role based in Vancouver, requiring work in our Yaletown office 4 days a week.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with macOS and Windows environments, Microsoft 365, MDM solutions, end-user support, Azure Cloud, and networking. You will play a critical role in ensuring our employees have a smooth, secure, and productive technology experience, while contributing to projects that shape the future of our IT operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide Tier 1–2 support for end users on macOS and Windows platforms.
- Manage and support Microsoft M365 products including Exchange Online, MS Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive.
- Manage MDM platforms such as Microsoft Intune and JumpCloud for device compliance, provisioning, application deployment, policies, configuration profiles, and reporting.
- Support core business applications (e.g., Slack, Zoom, Atlassian) and manage user access and onboarding.
- Respond to issues within the ticketing system and maintain good SLA standards.
- Maintain and troubleshoot networking components including Cloudflare ZTN, DHCP, DNS, IP routing, firewalls, and switches.
- Maintain endpoint security platforms like Sophos and SentinelOne, and respond to security alerts.
- Oversee patch management and OS compliance across devices.
- Assist with Azure AD administration and cloud infrastructure tasks.
- Develop and execute scripts using PowerShell or other scripting tools to automate tasks.
- Maintain documentation and user guides; deliver training as needed.
- Collaborate with the IT Manager on projects, automations, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Work with the security team on risk assessments, access reviews, and ongoing security monitoring.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Computer Science, IT, or similar.
- Minimum 3 years' experience in IT support or similar roles.
- Proven support experience for Windows and macOS in a business environment.
- Ability to multitask and respond promptly to ticket requests.
- Deep knowledge of hardware, software, and networks.
- Experience with endpoint hardening, secure device provisioning, and RBAC.
- Understanding of security standards like SOC 2 or ISO 27001.
- Positive attitude and excellent communication skills.
- Ability to train end-users and determine IT needs.
- Strong Microsoft 365 administration skills.
- Proficiency in PowerShell or similar scripting tools.
- Experience managing large macOS platforms is an asset.
- Focus on security and privacy, with troubleshooting and customer service skills.
Salary Range: $70,000 – $80,000/year plus annual bonus based on company performance.
