Location : Downtown Toronto – Hybrid 3 days a week

What you will be doing :

Design, implement, and maintain Elastic search solutions

Optimize search performance and relevance

Develop and maintain Elasticsearch clusters

Provide technical expertise in Elastic Stack (Elasticsearch, Fluent bit, Kibana)

Flattening and correlating JSON data with other log sources

Configure alerts using Elasticsearch Alerting, Kibana Alerting, Watcher. Custom alert integrations. Set up notification channels (Email, Slack, PagerDuty, etc.)

Create interactive geographic dashboards using tools like Kibana Maps, Elasticsearch Geospatial capabilities, Additional mapping libraries (Leaflet, Mapbox)

Implement heat maps, cluster maps, and coordinate maps

What you must have :

Experience with Elasticsearch and the Elastic Stack

Strong knowledge of search technologies and algorithms

Proficiency in programming languages (Java, Python, or similar)

Understanding of distributed systems

Experience with Linux / Unix environments

Knowledge of RESTful APIs

Strong problem-solving abilities

Good communication and collaboration skills

Elastic Certified Engineer certification

Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)

Knowledge of monitoring and logging solutions

Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
