We are currently seeking a Personal Lines Insurance Broker. In this role, you will help our company succeed and grow by selling all Personal Lines products. You will assess clients' insurance needs, evaluate risks, and set and meet sales targets. This role offers a competitive salary plus bonus based on performance and incentives.
What will you do?
- Meet or exceed monthly sales targets
- Answer inbound/outbound calls and online inquiries
- Develop business and prospect marketing plans to encourage new sales development
- Develop and market new business ideas while building a database of contacts and networking opportunities
- Provide potential clients with exceptional service, professional advice, and accurate quotes that best suit their needs
- Respond to company and/or client concerns/inquiries in a timely and professional manner
- Network with internal producers to achieve cross-selling goals and build relationships
- Network within assigned groups and attend events to promote the LIG Brand and products
- Complete all applicable documentation accurately upon closing
- Meet or exceed personal insurance production goals through referrals and self-generation
Knowledge, Skills, and Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of proven Personal Lines sales experience/track record
- RIBO License
- Post-secondary education in a related field (college or university level)
- Comfortable and confident with cold selling via email and telephone (preferred)
- Creative influence and negotiation skills
- Persistent and results-oriented
- Self-starter, highly motivated, with the ability to establish sales and retention goals
- Strong communication, presentation, and relationship skills
- Ability to organize and prioritize work effectively
- Strong attention to detail
- High level of computer skills, with experience in Applied Systems (EPIC) and Compu-quote considered assets
