Job description

Major Job Functions :

1. Act as a Product Owner with development team(s) (60%)
   Create and manage a backlog of well-groomed user stories for the features you are actively working on.
   Ensure stories are completed to an acceptable level, have correct UX/UI inputs, and align with our product strategy.
   Ensure the definition of ready and definition of done are met to a high standard.
2. Product Management Support (25%)
   Collaborate with the product management team to understand and advance the product.
   Contribute to the long-term roadmap by providing input into features and epics.
   Drive demonstrations of the platform to the broader Finning business and stakeholders.
3. Documentation (10%)
   Provide comprehensive documentation on features being developed.
   Manage contributors to ensure all aspects are delivered, including technical, support, and runbook documentation.
4. Process Improvements (5%)
   Suggest operational improvements to the development pipeline from planning to execution.
   Implement best practices and ensure colleagues operate to high standards.
   Ensure adherence to processes to facilitate quality delivery.

Additional responsibilities include ensuring development teams have clear user stories for at least two sprints, adhering to Finning standards, balancing feature delivery timelines, and including inputs from relevant practices such as architecture, UX, UI, and QA in estimations.

Qualifications :

• 8-10+ years of relevant experience

• Experience with customer journey mapping and roadmaps
• Strong requirements gathering skills
• Degree or equivalent industry experience
• Certifications in SAFe or Agile methodologies

Nice-To-Have Skills :

• Experience with Feature Development and Support squads
• Knowledge of current and emerging technologies
• Familiarity with UX, CX, wireframing, rapid prototyping, QA, and UAT practices
• Experience using analytics to enhance products
