The salary range for this position is $56,498 - $97,900. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills and abilities, as well as internal equity.

• Analyzes client specific risk exposure and details coverage requirements
• Prepares and presents marketing proposals for renewals and new business
• Negotiates with underwriters to establish best terms and conditions with respect to premiums and coverage
• Follows up with insurer to confirm terms of negotiated contract are met
• Approves documentation for new contracts, policy changes, additions, deletions and renewals
• Establishes contacts and cultivates relationships within the underwriting community in an effort to achieve the best premiums and coverage for Aon clients
• Participates in client and prospect meetings
• Collaborates with clients to develop coverage strategy and marketing initiatives for renewal and prospective business
• Collaborates with sales producers to support growth strategies and specific prospecting activities
• Collaborates to build national initiatives
• Builds productive working relationships with peers and higher-level professionals internally and externally to exchange information and make recommendations
• Performs other related duties as required

In this role, you’ll go beyond routine broking by negotiating directly with underwriters, shaping coverage strategies, and building strong client relationships. You’ll have a hands‑on impact at every stage—from analyzing risk and presenting proposals to mentoring junior brokers and ensuring policy accuracy. • Minimum 3 years' insurance experience
• Strong knowledge of and relationships with domestic carriers
• Level One Insurance licence required
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective client and insurer engagement
• Marine or commercial insurance background preferred
• Sales and business development experience considered an asset
