Job summary

A leading equipment service provider in Southwestern Ontario is seeking a Service Technician responsible for assisting customers with repairs and modifications of heavy construction equipment. The ideal candidate will have a High School Diploma, two years of relevant experience, a valid driver's license, and a strong mechanical aptitude. Excellent communication skills and a commitment to customer service are essential. This position offers opportunities for training and professional development.

Qualifications

  • Minimum two years of experience in troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of heavy construction equipment.
  • Possess a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
  • Knowledgeable of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.

Responsibilities

  • Assist customers on scheduled service, repair, and modifications to equipment.
  • Perform timely diagnostics and repairs on various equipment systems.
  • Communicate work required with customers and using digital platforms.

Skills

Mechanical aptitude
Strong PC skills including MS Office
Good written and verbal communication skills
High level of customer service
