Job summary

A professional sports team in Ottawa is seeking part-time team members to assist with arena changeovers and operational tasks. Responsibilities include assembling event equipment, performing custodial duties, and ensuring health and safety measures are followed. Ideal candidates must handle heavy lifting and work flexible hours including overnight shifts. Bilingual skills in English and French are an asset.

Qualifications

• Physically able to do heavy lifting and comfortable working at heights.
• Able to lead a group of 3rd party labourers.
• Must wear all necessary PPE when required.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and disassemble event equipment.
• Install and remove hockey dashers and glass.
• Assist with light custodial duties.
