About The Role
In this position, you will support a continuous improvement culture that maximizes capabilities and efficiencies in our distribution centers. You will Try Fast, Learn Fast and Think Big as you develop, implement, maintain material handling equipment (MHE) and property maintenance. You will identify and troubleshoot complex mechanical or electrical problems to minimize downtime.
Schedule: Monday - Friday 8am-4pm
What You'll Do
- Identify and troubleshoot solutions impacting facility product flow
- Perform major repairs/tasks using shop equipment such as band saws, arc and mig welders, torches, hydraulic presses, drill presses, lift equipment, etc.
- Serve as a lead technician in the absence of the Maintenance Supervisor
- Be a subject matter expert of all DC technology, systems, and process flows
- Maintain and troubleshoot HVAC equipment in the facility
- Perform maintenance on conveyors, forklifts, and electrical systems
- Listen and ask questions to understand needs and provide effective service

- Strong technical knowledge of MHE, electrical (PLC), and automation in a distribution center environment
- Ability to work, plan, and prioritize independently and within a cross-functional team
- Strong verbal, written, analytical, and persuasive skills with good judgment
- Highly organized with excellent time management skills and ability to multitask
