The role involves developing and implementing child-care programs, supervising other educators, and ensuring the health and security of children. Required qualifications include a Child Development Supervisor certificate and at least 2 years of experience. Strong communication and multitasking skills are essential. The position is on-site only, with no remote work options available.
Qualifications

- Knowledge of licensing regulations.
- Ability to supervise and coordinate activities of other educators.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement child-care programs to support children's development.
- Lead activities like storytelling, teaching songs, and outings.
- Order supplies and equipment for activities.
- Assist with record keeping and children's habits.
- Create an environment for creative expression through various media.

Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.
- Day care centre or nursery school
- Develop and implement child-care programs that support and promote the physical, cognitive, emotional and social development of children
- Lead activities by telling or reading stories, teaching songs and taking children to local points of interest
- Order supplies and equipment
- Assist early childhood educators or supervisors in keeping records
- Encourage children to express creativity through the media of art, dramatic play, music and physical activity
- Guide and assist children in the development of proper eating, dressing and toilet habits
- Knowledge of licensing regulations
- Establish guidelines for behaviour
- Plan and maintain an environment that protects the health, security and well-being of children
- Supervise and co-ordinate activities of other early childhood educators and early childhood educator assistants
- Child development supervisor (ECE level 3)
