What You’ll Be Doing

The Sr. Program Manager, Corporate Security Education & Awareness will play a critical role in advancing the security strategy and strengthening organizational resilience. This position is responsible for leading initiatives that assess and enhance security practices, supporting executive reporting, and driving programs that improve preparedness and risk awareness across the enterprise. This involves working closely with leadership to develop insights that shape decision-making and ensure security priorities are aligned with business objectives. This position also oversees cross-functional activities that promote the visibility and effectiveness of Corporate Security. This includes managing governance processes, supporting communications to internal and external audiences, and coordinating with teams to deliver on key security initiatives.

At CIBC we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role. You’ll have the flexibility to manage your work activities within a hybrid work arrangement where you’ll spend 1-3 days per week on-site, while other days will be remote.

How You’ll Succeed
  • Program Leadership – Drive key corporate security initiatives by developing, planning, and executing programs that enhance organizational resilience. Lead exercises, reviews, and cross-functional initiatives that help identify risks and strengthen the security posture of the organization.
  • Communication and Reporting – Translate complex security insights into clear, actionable communications for senior leadership and other stakeholders. Deliver concise reports, executive updates, and recommendations that influence decision-making and align with corporate priorities.
  • Stakeholder Relationships – Build and maintain strong relationships across Corporate Security and with business partners. Act as a trusted advisor by understanding stakeholder needs, aligning initiatives to business objectives, and fostering collaboration across functions.
  • Governance and Process Improvement – Oversee governance activities and contribute to continuous improvement by streamlining processes, enhancing operational efficiency, and ensuring security programs are delivered consistently and effectively.
Who You Are
  • You can demonstrate experience in leading programs end-to-end and thrive when given the opportunity to shape direction and outcomes. You’re a strong communicator. You can distill complex security insights into messages that resonate with executives and broad audiences alike.
  • You act like an owner. You thrive when you're empowered to take initiative, go above and beyond, and deliver results.
  • You're motivated by collective success. You know that teamwork can transform a good idea into a great one. You know that an inclusive team that enjoys working together can bring a vision to life.
  • Your influence makes a difference. You know that relationships and networks are essential to success. You inspire outcomes by sharing your expertise.
  • Values matter to you. You bring your real self to work and you live our values – trust, teamwork, and accountability.

Prior to starting in this role, security checks, including a criminal record check must be successfully completed to the satisfaction of CIBC. An annual criminal record check may also be required.
