A healthcare organization in Nova Scotia is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to provide care to complex but stable residents. Responsibilities include performing assessments, planning personal care, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. Ideal candidates must be registered with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives and demonstrate effective communication and organizational abilities. This role requires physical capability to carry out its duties in a busy healthcare environment.

Under the direction of the Manager or designate and in collaboration as a member of a multidisciplinary team, the Licensed Practical Nurse provides care to complex but stable residents /clients. Performs assessments, plans and provides personal care, and performs nursing procedures. The Licensed Practical Nurse operates in accordance with the competency guidelines and full scope of practice within the Standards of Practice as outlined by the BC College of Nurses and Midwives, and according to agency operating policies and standards and unit specific protocols.
