Terus Construction is an integrated road construction and materials manufacturing company with over 30 years of experience building roads across British Columbia and the Yukon Territory. Our core activities include road construction, asphalt paving, aggregate production, hot mix asphalt, and ready-mix concrete supply. This is a unionized position located in Prince Rupert, BC. We are a division of Colas Western Canada Inc., and our mission is to ensure quality in our projects.

• Perform quality control testing during aggregate and concrete production.
• Assist in implementing quality control programs and procedures.
• Ensure product compliance with specifications and reporting requirements.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, subcontractors, and plant personnel.
• Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment to ensure accuracy.
• Promote ethical standards and confidence in testing procedures.
• Conduct business professionally and respectfully at all times.
• Understand project specifications, report substandard results, and recommend corrective actions.
• Comply with all OH&S regulations, safety policies, and site-specific safety directives.

• 3 to 5 years of relevant QA/QC experience in the construction industry preferred; training available for less experienced candidates.
• ACI certification is an asset.
• Excellent communication skills (oral and written) and team-oriented mindset.
• Class 5 Driver’s License.
• Ability to work outdoors and in laboratory settings.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work weekends and overtime as needed.

The salary range is $25-27 CAD per hour, with final compensation based on experience and qualifications.
